Hi! My name is Emily Kleefisch, and I am so excited to be the Head Coach for the Jambalaya Park Pool Dolphins! This will be my fifth year coaching and my fourth year as head coach. I was a swim coach in New Orleans prior to joining the SELA family. I am from Belle Chasse, LA and moved to Baton Rouge for college. I graduated from LSU with a degree in Early Childhood Education, and I currently work as a Kindergarten Teacher in Ascension Parish.
I started swimming when I was three years old and loved summer swimming. I swam competitively with CREW swimming and on my high school team for over 6 years. I have always had a passion for swimming, and I love to watch children form their own love of the sport. My favorite part about summer swimming is growing friendships and confidence in and outside the pool. I am eager for my first year at Jambalaya Park Pool! Go Dolphins!!
