Coaches
Coach Kelley is a fifth-year teacher currently working in Ascension Parish. He graduated with the Class of 2013 at Dutchtown High School, where he lettered varsity in swimming, specializing in the 100 yard Butterfly. He is an LSU graduate with a B.A. in History, and is a long time Saints & Tigers fan. Kelley has dedicated the last ten years of his life to developing the swimming talent of Ascension Parish. He was head coach of the Gonzales Dolphins from the Summers of 2014-2017. Afterwards, he decided to take his coaching to an elite level as the head coach of the Gonzales satellite program for Tiger Aquatics from 2017-2021. After the birth of his daughter, Kelley decided to take a step back from year-round competition to focus on work and family life, while serving as Head Coach for the East Ascension swim team for the last three seasons.
Coach Kelley is extremely grateful for the opportunity to return to the team that started it all! He believes in building three foundations for competitive swimmers: mastery of stroke & racing skills, S.M.A.R.T. goal planning geared towards individual success, and building positive team culture through model athletes.
